Most hunts take place from high rack vehicles, and stalk hunting with normal hiking difficulty journey begins.
We specialize in Trophy Desert Mule Deer, so Mexico trophy mule deer hunts become our guides and the hunters’ main objective when they are out for the hunt.
Across our 66,000 private acres desert ground, your probabilities to find a giant mule deer are high since we are surrounded by the highest population density of Mule Deer in the Great Sonora Desert.
Travel to our ranch is convenient, with both commercial and private airports available. For commercial flights, Hermosillo General Ignacio Pesqueira García International Airport (IATA: HMO, ICAO: MMHO) is the nearest airport, receiving flights from various domestic and U.S. cities like Los Angeles and Phoenix.
The airport is about an hour's drive from El Chaparral Ranch. Kindly provide us with your flight itinerary for pickup arrangements.
Ensure your passport is valid for entry into Mexico; if renewal is required, allow 8-10 weeks for processing. To fly into Mexico a current passport is required.
If you want to bring your own rifles you will need to send us at least 2 months in advance the serial number of your weapon, the model and brand, in addition to a legible copy of your official identification.
